Vocalise is Anderson High School’s premier mixed concert choir. This auditioned group averages 40 students with age ranges 9th to 12th grade. They rehearse every school day, working toward optimal music literacy as well as performance repertoire. This wonderful group of talented and able singers performs high-level, challenging repertoire throughout the school year while also participating in various other extracurricular activities. In October 2017, Vocalise had the privilege of traveling to Ball State University to perform for an audience of middle and high school singers, as well as working with two Ball State Music Education and Performance professors. They were then able to apply the feedback they received to their performance technique there after.
